About us
A Chennai travel desk that people come back to
Om Shakthi Travels works out of Krishna Nagar in Virugambakkam. A lot of our bookings come from people who have travelled with us before. Families going to a wedding in Kumbakonam. IT teams shuttling between OMR and the airport. Visitors who want someone local at the wheel for a day in the city.
Every car comes with a driver. Our drivers know which roads jam up at six in the evening, where to wait at the airport, and how to reach a kalyana mandapam tucked away in a Mylapore side street. You sit back and they handle the road.
Pricing is kept simple. You pay for an 8-hour, 80-km package. If the day runs longer, extra hours and kilometres are added at a fixed rate. Toll and parking are paid as they come. That is the whole bill.

Chennai International Airport at Meenambakkam, plus Central and Egmore stations. Share your flight or train details and we will be there.
Weddings and functions
Cars for the bride's family, out-of-town relatives and the groom's arrival. The Vellfire is a favourite for the main couple.
Corporate travel
Client visits, guest pickups and daily office runs across OMR, Guindy, Ambattur and Sriperumbudur.
Temple and pilgrimage trips
Tirupati, Kanchipuram, Tiruvannamalai, Velankanni and the Navagraha temples. Early starts are no problem.
Weekend getaways
Mahabalipuram along the ECR, Pondicherry, Yelagiri or Bangalore. Room for the whole family and the luggage.
City hire by the day
Shopping in T. Nagar, hospital visits, house-hunting or a day of errands. Keep the car and driver for 8 hours.

- Fares are for local use within Chennai. Hours and kilometres are counted from our garage in Virugambakkam and back.
- Toll, parking and state permit charges, if any, are paid at actuals.
- Outstation trips and multi-day bookings are quoted on request, including the driver's allowance.
How a day adds up
Say you hire a Crysta G for a wedding shopping trip to T. Nagar and Purasawalkam. The day runs 10 hours and covers 95 km. You pay ₹4,250 for the package, 2 extra hours at ₹350 (₹700) and 15 extra km at ₹25 (₹375). That comes to ₹5,325, plus any parking.

Before you book
Do you rent cars without a driver?
No. Every booking with Om Shakthi Travels comes with one of our drivers. You don't have to worry about Chennai traffic, parking or finding the way.
What is the cheapest Innova you have?
The Innova Crysta G. It costs ₹4,250 for 8 hours and 80 km, with ₹350 for each extra hour and ₹25 for each extra kilometre.
Can you pick me up from Chennai airport?
Yes. Send us your flight number and arrival time on WhatsApp. The driver will meet you at the arrivals area and help with your bags.
How early should I book?
A day or two ahead is usually enough for an Innova. For the Vellfire, and for any car on a wedding date, book as early as you can because those dates fill up first.
Do you take outstation trips?
Yes. Tirupati, Pondicherry, Mahabalipuram, Kanchipuram, Vellore and Bangalore are regular routes for us. Tell us the route and number of days and we will send a quote.
